Hello everyone! It is now T-minus 4 days until the big race day. I honestly cannot believe it is here already! Augh! So, regardless of whether I am ready or not, I will be swimming 1.2 miles in a freezing lake, biking 58 miles up to Mt. Bachelor, and then running a ridiculous 13.1 miles in Sunriver, OR. What fun! I'm super nervous but very excited to push myself farther than I ever have before. I think this race will make my marathon look easy. I'll let you know though :)

About two days ago I found a great website called thirtysixthavenue.com with great craft, design, and home decor ideas. I fell in love with a pillow case stencil with a picture of a bike and the quote "life is too short. enjoy the ride" that was shown on the blog. I promptly ordered the stencil so I could make my own craft project. Tonight, as I was browsing through The 36th Avenue website/blog again, I saw that Desiree (the blog owner) had given a shout-out to me and the triathlon that I'm doing! Woo hoo! :) Anyways, I'm posting the link below because I feel so special. Just scroll to the bottom of the post to see the shout-out to me! I think she knew it was my birthday tomorrow and wanted me to feel good about myself. It worked! Thanks for the inspiration!
